ORDER FOR SERVICE BY PUBLICATION

COME NOW the petitioners, Brian Distler and Rhonda Distler, by counsel, in the above-styled action, the object of which is the adoption of the minor children by the petitioners.
IN CONSIDERATION OF the petitioners affidavit in support of this Order of Publication having been made and filed in this matter that the residence, location, or whereabouts of David Garcia, Timothy Lamont White or any unknown biological fathers of the minor children, Sklyer Lewis Stearnes and Tasha Nicole Stearnes, are unknown, and that pursuant to Va. Code § 8.01-316.1(b) the petitioners have made diligent, good faith efforts in attempt to ascertain the location of them without effect.
NOW THEREFORE it is ORDERED that David Garcia, Timothy Lamont White or any unknown biological fathers of the minor children, Sklyer Lewis Stearnes and Tasha Nicole Stearnes, do appear before this Court on or before October 6, 2023, at 9:30 AM., after due and proper publication of this order, and do what is necessary to protect their interests in this cause.
It is further ORDERED that the forgoing portion of this Order be published once a week for four successive weeks in the Farmville Herald, a newspaper published and having general circulation in Lunenburg County, Virginia.
